Caspian Tern
Occurred the most disproportionately in hexagons with at least 2% of
their area as freshwater habitat, and secondarily in hexagons where less
total area of freshwater habitat but with any area of wetlands and wet
shrubland. The logistic regression analysis showed positive or negative
association with lakes/reservoirs, wetlands and wet shrubland, total
freshwater habitat, and-to a lesser degree-road density, April
minimum temperature (hex. max.), topographic variation, and June
minimum temperature (hex. avg.).
